Let`s help Vesna in the most important life game
Slovenian chess player Vesna Rožič was supposed to participate at the European Individual Women’s Chess Championship in Belgrade. Unfortunately, serious illness thwarted her intentions. Vesna now needs help from the chess family...
Dear Sir/Madam,
I turn to you with a request for a donation to cancer treatment of my 26-year-old daughter Vesna Rožič. Vesna is a student of final year at Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana and permanent member of Slovenian chess team. She got seriously ill in May this year. Doctors diagnosed metastatic cancer. Since Vesna is a fighter by nature, she decided to fight the disease with all of her strengths.
She started treatment in Slovenia at Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana, where he has already received two cycles of systemic chemotherapy, but because of the nature of the disease this was not enough. We contacted the clinic Medias Klinikum GmbH, Burghausen, Germany, where she will receive treatment in the form of local chemotherapy. Doctors estimate that she will require at least 3 cycles of local chemotherapy. Each cycle costs between 15,000 and 20,000 EUR.
The cost of treatment is very high. We managed to cover the cost of first cycle of local chemotherapy in Germany. For payment of the remaining two courses totaling 40,000 EUR we turn to you and ask you to help us collect donations to pay the costs of Vesna’s treatment.
Maybe I didn’t say everything I wanted at the moment, but my distress and hardship our family is so big that we can’t help ourselves.
Yours sincerely,
Adrijan Rožič
(Vesna’s father)
